This year I've been part of the organisational team for Volume, Birmingham's Art, Book and Print Fair on 5th-7th of December at the brand new and amazing Central Library. I have a stall at the event on the Friday and Saturday where I should have copies of my new book Take Away for sale as well as a range of zines and comics by various artists.
As part of the event Birmingham Zine Festival is presenting another live "Make It Then Tell Everybody" panel (an event we started with Dan Berry at last year's BZF) This time the panel line up features the following speakers (listed below) on 3pm Saturday 7th December - you can book tickets here:
Hosted by Dan Berry – an illustrator, designer, cartoonist and lecturer will talk to other makers about the tools and techniques of comic artists and how emerging artists can promote and distribute what they do.
Philippa Rice – creator of the webcomic My Cardboard Life, Recyclost, Looking Out and many other titles. http://mycardboardlife.com
