Stockholms Internationella Seriefestival 2013

This weekend I will be in Sweden for Stockholms internationella seriefestival 2013. I'll be sharing a stall with Amelie Persson! We'll be selling an exciting selection of comics and zines as well as other items (notebooks, badges etc) Come and find us at table number 60.

It's my first time flying alone and I hate flying so as the weekend approaches it's seeming like a crazy thing to be doing. I'll be heading from Sweden to Berlin and then to Prague sprinkling comics into comic shops as I go.

New Notebooks!

Tomorrow (Saturday 20th April) I'll be at Comica Festival selling new notebooks and Romantic Bison 2! Here are some quick photos. They will be for sale online in my webshop next week.

Mega packs are quickly selling out so I don't expect I will have those listed in the shop for much longer. As you can see a lot of stuff is now marked "Sold Out" I don't plan to restock any sold out items but I'll be making a bunch of new stuff later in the year. Bimba!

Bimba arrived in the post!! And it's pretty awesome. Here are a few photos. You can buy a copy for yourself over at the Bimba shop and they are also on the look out for submissions for issue two here are details on that.

I have a few copies of Bimba that I will be selling at Flatpack Festival BZF stall this Saturday and in Sweden at the end of April so if you plan to attend either of those you can grab yourself a copy then.

I have only seen one review online so far but it's a good one so maybe that will tempt you into buying a copy of this beaut.

Documentary

Documentary maker Sara Jackson has made a short film about me and my comics. You can watch it below or click that link. Exclusive footage of me at work in my PJs! I show my sketchbooks and talk a bit about where the ideas for some characters come from. In the film you can also see Six Eight Kafé which is my favourite coffee shop in Birmingham where I painted this mural last year.


There are a few shots in there of me at work in my new studio space- I plan to put a blog tour up of that as soon as the weather gets better for taking photos (at the moment it's like working in a cave)

Rummage Sale!

I will be at Brum Rummage tomorrow! Saturday February 23rd 2013 at St Columba, Moseley. The craft fair and farmers market in Moseley will be happening then too so it's the place to be. I'll have two suitcases of stuff for sale full of....

Comics, badges, patches, zines as well as some other stuff I'm clearing out - vintage cats, necklaces, craft supplies etc etc. A few previously sold out comics that I found clearing out my stock storage too. And, I'm bringing the mystery machine case to display it all in so you'll be missing that if you can't make it! Here it is, ready to go*

*it's not really ready, I just took it off the top of the wardrobe. It's covered in dust and a wheel is broken.
