Once Upon A Time In the Midlands Exhibition!

This Saturday is the launch of an exhibition I'm part of called "Once Upon A Time In The Midlands" at the excellent 6/8 Kafe in Birmingham (one of my favourite coffee places!) I have written a creepy fairy tale "Curse Of The Bogmen" and had it made into a mini flip comic especially for the exhibition. Copies will be on sale at the opening along with the original artwork! Here are some quick photos:

"An exhibition of illustration inspired by fairy tales with artists and illustrators all with connections to the midlands. Featuring new work from James Bourne, Lee Crutchley, Herman Inclusus, Lizz Lunney, Mark Long, Mr Millerchip, Luke Pearson, Sarah Ray, Paul Roberts and Steven Silverwood."

As the exhibition is in Birmingham my story is inspired by Moseley Bog that is near my house which also inspired Tolkien!

There will be live drawing from 4pm onwards so be sure to go along and go check out the exhibition, grab a delicious coffee and bag yourself a copy of Curse of The Bogmen.

Page 45 now sells cards!

I'm very excited to announce that the brilliant comic shop Page 45 in Nottingham now sells my cards! They sell them in store and also online here! You can click on any card for review! I also heard that 10% Student Discount applies to these in store too so it's probably the best place in Nottingham to go buy them!!

Berlin comics!

I was in Berlin last week for Pictoplasma and while there I took more stock to some of the awesome Berlin comic shops. So you can now buy my new comics At The Caves, Curse of the Bogmen, Tofu and Cats, At The Planetarium and Dream Locations postcard book at the following places:

Big Brobot

Modern Graphics

Renate Comic Library

I also spotted my book "Ich Liebe Katzen" published by Zwerchfell and Dan Berry's brilliant books for sale already at Big Brobot! It's a great shop- if you are in the area you should definitely pay them a visit.

Berlin has an exciting arts scene, the Pictoplasma character walk was ace! Highlights of the trip included joining Mawil for an exhibition opening, eating all the food in Berlin and a great talk by Pablo as part of his Illustration Around The World project, photo below borrowed from his website showing (left to right) LouLou and Tummie, Jonathan Edwards, Joe List, Tuckshop, Felt Mistress, Steffi Schütze, me and Darren.

I also really enjoyed meeting this handsome guy:
