Competition!

I figured it was about time I got some new fabric PATCHES. I'm currently trying to decide which designs to go for. These are my rough patch designs so far:
I'm going to get two different designs but not sure what to go for yet. SO- if you are reading this and have any feedback or opinions I'd really appreciate your thoughts- Which shape you would buy? Which designs do you like? or which characters you would like to see on patches that I've not drawn here? I will do more designs and probably do another blog post to help decide which to get made. As in incentive if you leave some feedback I will pick a random winner from the comments who will win one of each new patch when they are made in a few weeks!

Two Blue Cats

I thought I'd write a blog about the stuff I've been up to recently.

Here are some photos of the conventions I was at last weekend:


Craft and Crown at the Hospital Club was a relaxed event full of cupcakes and tea. I had a great day and as I've been ill recently it was a nice day to see friends and chat to other craft makers. It was especially great to finally meet the people behind Avoid The Future!


London Zine Symposium was a much more hectic day, mainly because I wasn't feeling great and thought I was late. It turned out I was actually early, phew! It was super hot in the hall and mega packed with people buying and selling zines. I didn't really get chance to look around so was sad not to have a bunch of zines to read on the train home but I did meet lots of people and as usual it was an amazing event which seems to be getting more and more popular each year. I ran out of flyers in the first hour!! I did get a couple of things before leaving which I will blog about in a separate post soon.

Then this weekend I was busy painting and designing some new patches (that I hope to get made in time for MCM in May...see following post on these) This is the painting I did of two blue cats:

Two Day Stall Weekend!

This weekend I will be at two events in London, on Saturday: Craft and Crown- a Royal Wedding themed craft extravaganza! I will have new badges- with heads and tails coin images (shown above!) and whatever else I can rustle up by then! I will be sharing with the awesome Lynn Allingham of Tuckshop fame selling a whole host of wedding themed jewels and magical goodies. You don't know what to buy William and Kate as a wedding present?- well come along and there will be loads to choose from. The Queen will even be there!*




And on Sunday I will be at the London Zine Symposium sharing a stall with Katie Green of Green Bean Studio (who I have yet to meet in reality!) so be sure to come by and say hello and bring us presents. If it's anything like the last event there will be a ton of cake and fun to be had. See you there!
